That Temptation . . . It’s Not Meant For You, It’s For The Son of God In You

This was a fairly new concept for me to think about.  (This is for September 19 by the way)  It helped me to understand more clearly the verse that says there is no temptation to come upon us that God doesn’t provide a way out of (revised by Kara).  In essence, He provides a way by doing the battle within us, which is where OUR battle comes in, submitting to His authority over that part of our life.  Sometimes, the sacrifice seems just too great but we must allow Him to take that part of our life that is being tempted, to the cross with Him.  The end result–a new man and a freedom from that sin that has now died within us.

When things get hard--continue to listen to His voice and follow. There's a promise of a resurrected life at the end of the fight.
