Have you ever heard the Master say something very difficult to you? If you haven’t, I question whether you have ever heard Him say anything at all. —Oswald Chambers
More difficult words to live by.

Christ gave His all so we could have the chance for intimacy with Him–to follow Him . . . that’s worth “selling all.”
The word “sell” is just another word for “give up.” In God’s economy He asks you to “sell” when it feels like the biggest risk and we’re left asking “But what if . . . ?”. Remember, God’s economy is NEVER logical and ALWAYS costs us–our pride, preconceived ideas, injustice toward others, judgmentalism, and so on . . . rarely the “Sell all” is possessions. One thing for sure, it’s close to your heart and if you don’t “sell” you will leave God’s presence sorrowful. That means that if you DO “sell” the opposite will happen–you will leave God’s presence joyful. 🙂
