The Goal Is In The Moment

Have you ever noticed that when we set a goal, then reach it, there’s a letdown?  It’s almost like our attitude becomes, now what do I live for and where do I go from here and how do I plan my days?  Maybe that’s why God makes it about relationship, not tangible goals.  He says, “Live in the moment, with me, and each moment will have precious meaning”. It’s about the journey, walking on the water with Jesus . . . not a specific goal . . . because that IS the goal and our privilege.7_28_15_The Real Goal_#291
