Keep Your Mouth Shut if You Can’t Back it Up With Your Life

A “Christian life” without the Spirit is just a claim with nothing to back it up.  It causes confusion, doesn’t add up.  Another way to put it, if you claim to be a Christian, before you testify to Christianity (to know Jesus), check yourself.  Do you have an understanding of God’s Word?  Do you have love, joy and peace?  How about patience and kindness?  Are you ONE with God through His Spirit leading your life?  These are all attributes and evidence that your life is hid with Christ–you are filled with the Spirit and your testimony and life will be a consistent witness to it.

In short–let’s keep our mouths shut if we don’t give a good testimony for Christ with our lives and words.
